This project is evaluating having a member of staff with health-related specialism in outreach teams to address the health needs of people sleeping rough.
We have set up eight new outreach health services, running for 18 months, who can offer people sleeping rough routes out of homelessness, support their health needs and help to access mainstream health services such as a GP. Outcomes for individuals who have been sleeping rough in these areas will be compared with those of people in eight control group areas.
