CHI announces Faye Greaves as new Head of Practice, Policy and Development

Dr Ligia Teixeira, Chief Executive of the Centre for Homelessness Impact (CHI) has announced the appointment of Faye Greaves as CHI’s new Head of Practice, Policy and Development.

Faye will join CHI in the last week in November from the Chartered Institute of Housing, where she led on their homelessness work since 2016. Prior to that Faye worked in a local authority delivering front-line housing advice, support and services. Ten years experience of working in a statutory housing options and homelessness environment formed the foundation of her experience in this area.

Ligia said:

“As the Centre for Homelessness Impact moves into its second year and a new stage of development in the execution of its five-year strategy, I am delighted Faye will be joining CHI as our new Head of Practice, Policy and Development. With a housing career spanning 14 years, Faye brings a wealth of experience in housing and homelessness and a deep commitment to tackling and preventing homelessness effectively. I look forward to working with her in the years to come.”

On her appointment, Faye added:

“The passion I have for creating a society in which any experience of homelessness is rare, brief and non-recurring is the motivation that has driven my career to where I am now, and I truly believe in the power of evidence and data to help achieve that vision. I’m so excited to join CHI and collaborate with those working at national and local levels, funders, service providers and those with lived experiences to drive the culture shift required to make that happen.”
