Selina-Valencia has over 12 years of experience within the finance industry and is currently a Director and Private Banker within the London offices of a global bank.

Prior to working in Finance, Selina-Valencia worked within the Legal industry and lived in New York where she qualified as an Attorney-At-Law.

In her spare time, Selina empowers ethnic minorities, entrepreneurs, female clients and colleagues through various initiatives including mentoring and the delivery of financial literacy, skill-based and career progression workshops. She also founded a number of female driven event groups which focus on the sharing of best practice.

With regards to pro-bono and charity work, throughout the last 20 years, Selina has volunteered for and founded a number of charitable initiatives including Law clinics, soup kitchens and government backed school mentoring initiatives. Further, Selina-Valencia spent 8 years as a supporter/adviser for a homeless charity based in Northamptonshire.
