Matt is an aspiring sociologist studying housing-based solutions to homelessness; as a Marshall Scholar, he is pursuing an MA in Sociology at the University of Manchester and an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation at the University of Oxford. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where he researched interventions to reduce the stigmatisation of unhoused people. Named a John Robert Lewis Scholar, his advocacy focuses on ending the criminalisation of homelessness.
