Ana is a health researcher with a PhD in epidemiology, an MHS in international health, and extensive experience in quantitative and mixed methods. She has collaborated on research projects in the areas of nutrition, mental health, geriatrics, blood donations, and ophthalmology in the US, India, China, and Northern Ireland. The findings from these studies have appeared in peer-reviewed journals, including JAMA, Transfusion, American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Current Eye Research, Ophthalmic Epidemiology, and Ethnicity and Disease, as well as in government publications. Ana joined the team as an Evidence lead in 2023 and lives in Northern Ireland.
